Margaret Rizzuto is a Providence-based visual artist whose photography looks at how spaces are felt rather than simply seen. Her work seeks to understand perception through movement, abstraction, and subtle shifts in form, allowing images to emerge between clarity and blur, presence and retreat.
Working with traditional photography, multiple exposures, and intentional camera movement (ICM), Margaret is drawn to fleeting moments and quiet transitions. Her images reflect a restrained sense of space and time, informed by an interest in interior experience—how we notice, what comes into focus, and what remains just out of view.
