BLURRING THE LINES

This series comes from a desire to move beyond the literal—to create images that reflect the complexity, imperfection, and unpredictability in our world. Working with traditional photography, Intentional Camera Movement (ICM), and Multiple Exposures, disruption happens.

I see this work in a space somewhere between clarity and dissolution. The familiar slips away, reassembling into something more elusive. In many ways, this mirrors the internal landscape I navigate, a place I know many women inhabit—where certainty is rare, and beauty often reveals itself in the fragmented and the fleeting.

These photographs are as much about what we can’t hold onto as what we can. By embracing abstraction and imperfection, there is space for vulnerability, emotion, and imagination.
